Phylamox 100 % WSP A.U.V.

The veterinary medicinal product serves for the treatment of infectious diseases
caused by amoxicillin-sensitive Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria in
domestic fowl (broiler chickens) and pigs.
Pigs:
• Pasteurellosis (Pasteurella multocida)
• Infections caused by Streptococcus suis
• Pleuropneumonia of pigs (Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae)
• Glässer’s disease of pigs (Haemophilus parasuis)
Domestic fowl:
• Fowl cholera (Pasteurella multocida)
• Colibacillosis (Escherichia coli)
The product should be used on the basis of the results of antibiotic susceptibility tests
by taking into consideration the guidelines for the use of antimicrobial agents.

Active Ingredient

1 g powder = 1 g amoxicillin-trihydrate

Amounts to be administered and administration procedure

Broiler chickens: 20 mg Phylamox 100% powder A.U.V./1 kilogram of body weight for the preparation of a solution for internal use for animal treatment over a period of 3–5 days. Calculated amount of product shall be added to drinking water of animals taken in within three hours. Before treatment animals shall be withdrawn from water. Pigs: 10–20 mg Phylamox 100% powder A.U.V./1kilogram of body weight for the preparation of a solution for internal use for animal treatment over a period of 3–5 days. Calculated amount of product shall be mixed into 5-10 litres water. This pre-dilution shall be added to drinking water of animals. Before treatment animals shall be withdrawn from water.

Withdrawal period: Domestic fowl (broiler chicken) meat and offal: 4 days. Pig meat and offal:
4 days. The veterinary medicinal product is not authorized for the treatment of laying hens
producing eggs intended for human consumption.

Packaging: 80 g in a polyethylene box closed with a polyethylene lid having a warranty seal. 250 g, 1 kg in polyethylene box closed with a polyethylene screw cap.
